Difficult to access to BC

Have been having a hard time accessing/loading BC. Wait time ranges from 1 minute to 2 minutes just to open/load a page.
But here's the catch, it only happens at night time (U.S. Pacific time). During morning to late afternoon, it's fine. But have seen an occasional lags here & there.

I've checked and cleared everything (cookies, browsing history etc.).
Surfing using the IE7 platform. I tried switching to Firefox and same problem.
No virus, spywares etc.
Accessing other websites is fine.

Anyone else in the U.S./California/SoCal region having this problem??..

same here. I am having a problem in accessing to the forum since this morning. Even I turn my modem on and off for several times, the problem still exists. Accessing to other websites is fine. It is so difficult to load and reply in this thread.

Yes , suetyan I'm having the same problem as you - BC wasn't loading for me this morning.

Which is strange as normally it works fine

acknowledge that there is a problem. the load level of the server is going up the roof this past few days. looking into it now.

restarted the server processes. seems to be better now.

i will keep an eye on it throughout the day.

Glad to have found and read the last few posts here. Before it, I thought there was something wrong with my internet connection.

..*pheeww*...yay, it's back to normal now, problem solved. Good to know i wasn't the only one having this problem.
I had a feeling it probably had to do with the BC server overloading or under going some maintenance, but not sure if it's coming from kwun's or the actual server hub in Texas. I should've let you know much earlier, when the problem popped up last week. But it wasn't bad and y'day afternoon while i was surfing, it wasn't too bad. But boy, it really went bonkers last night (U.S. time)/day time (Asia and other parts of the world)..

I guess the overload was caused by people visiting BC for the World Championships. Thank goodness BC didn't crash during the WC!!..

..i thought you guys mods keep in contact with each other daily? say through IM/Messenger?..
man, thank goodness kwun wasn't away from his home on a long vacation..imagine the torture we have to go through not having BC run properly..
