Dear All,
I am new to this thread as well as to this site. I found this thread very interesting and informative. I am a badminton player from India and have played in few professional tournaments here in India, I will be moving to Boston in August to pursue my MBA from Boston College. I am really not sure how far is Boston College from Harvard or MIT but can anyone suggest me some good clubs/courts to play badminton around Boston College(Chestnut Hill) area along with the rates. I am really looking forward to some economic options around this place.

Hi everyone,

I am an advanced/competitive badminton player visiting from Toronto, Canada and was wondering if there are any places to play on Sat Sept 4 - Sun Sept 5. I typically play feather but can also play plastic as well.

Please let me know as I may be bored to tears during this time.

Well apparently I am the only member of BC from the Boston, MA US area. In case any of you guys ever show up around this part of the world, here's a brief list of places I've found where you can play badminton around here. I'll divided according to days of the week:

Monday:
1) Needham High School, Needham. $20 / season (~12 weeks). 7:30-10pm.

Tuesday:
Haven't found a place yet.

Wednesday:
1) Lincoln Hancock School, Quincy. $7 (member) $9(non-member) / session. 6:30-9:30pm.

2) Natick Armory, Natick. $8 / session. 7?-10pm?

Thursday:
1) Sharon Middle School, Sharon. #45 / season (~12 weeks). 7:30-10:30pm.

Friday:
1) Boston University. If pay, you can play Fri, Sat, and Sun, (whenever the gym is open) $20 / season (? not sure how long) 6:30-11pm.

Saturday:
1)Boston University. 5-7pm?

2)MIT. Cambridge. $5 / session. time ?

Sunday:
1)Boston University. 4-6pm?

2)Bedford High School, Bedford. $5 / session. 1:30-5pm.

So far these are the closest places I've found around me, all within 30 min of driving.
