I love to smash. I'm hard hitter. I'm looking for power and durable.. which string suits me ? If I choose BG80, but the power of BG80 is not as strong as BG66.. If I choose BG66, the durability is not as good as BG80.. sigh.. Don't know which to choose between this 2 strings.. =="

BG80 will last longer. and the power is not that bad at all. its up there, but BG66 has a very slight advantage. the question is, how often do you want to restring?

BG80 at 25X27. Both power and durability (only last about 1 year max at 3-4 games/week)

go for bg66. at RM21-25, it will be a reasonable budget for every 1-3 months.
if my string dont snap in 4 months, i will use scissor. 3-4 times play per week, expect to change string less than 3 months. in your case, most likely is the cost that prevent you to do so. :(

I was having the BG80 vs BG66 debate for myself... and ended up with BG85! I guess for you if you try the BG66 (as it's the most repellent), and then if it breaks soon then chose between BG80/85 next.

if you call that far, i have nothing more to suggest.

    1. stick to bg66 at your local/nearby and negotiate the price.
    2. change to bg80, i assume it will be like RM35-39.
    3. try bg85 out, then it will be like RM42-48. that will be like having NBG98.

Pertama complex got a lot of fakes if i recall.I saw several BG6 strings where the packing was quite weird.A shop near bangsar lrt station (ah lee i think) are selling strings quite cheaply but i think its too cheap to be original.

Your stringing it at 25 pounds... you should expect strings to snap regularily.
