I found out my smashing angel got problem and my friend told me use hand aim the shuttle cocks when its coming I wonder u guys will do that or not
No way! You have a Smashing Angel?! Does she/he help you during the game and bless you with extra power and agility?
It can help develop the aim to keep your arm up, however, i would not directly point in the direction i am aiming. If you do aim where you are smashing, also work on some deceptive shots that don't go directly where you are pointing. People will clue in on it.
Angle in smashing is more about technique in where you contact the birdie and what your form is to swinging a smash.
pointing to the shuttle in the direction you are going to hit is not the best habit. if you cultivate it, try to move away from it. also, use more wrist in the motion, it helps set a nice angle.
I know it is, haha. But I did imagine an angel bless me with extra power and agility. Whatever racquet I was holding on the court would transform into Armorspeed 10000 and my shoes would become SHB 1000 at the size of 12 with auto-lacing function! Sorry if my imagination is too wild. I just had a beer run~
just learn to swing and hit the shuttle squarely. When you can master a good swing which results in a square hit on the shuttle, you will be able to aim with ease. it's really easier said than done. because when you're not in your most comfortable position you tend not to be able to swing and hit as squarely
Hold a little firmer when you hit. It sure helps in controlling the direction. Yes, square does helps. The angel will appear when you do this regularly. hehe.
I would suggest you reduce your smashing power a bit and concentrate on developing your accuracy. Don't try to smash too hard; just try to get it right first. You can start hitting harder as your accuracy improves. Also, don't be afraid to go for the corners and the lines. Keep trying and after some time you will start hitting the lines and corners consistently!! you may end up losing games initially but the benefits in the long run will pay off.
accuracy > power. Train with half smashes until your placement becomes consistant. EG you plan to smash down the line or crosscourt and the shuttle goes exactly where you want it to go. Once you can consistantly and accurately half smash learn to input your power. It will take time and its a slow process. But again accuracy > power.
