Hi everyone. I just moved to Las Vegas from California. Well here is a little about myself. I work on Nellis AFB. I manage the F15's that fly there. This might make some people angry, but I used to make fun of this sport because my bro and sis played, but when I started playing it I actually loved and whenever I had a chance we would play. We would travel for 30 mins just to go play badminton. Well I played occasionally at the Arcadia Badminton Club, practice Sunday mornings at Colton High, and the occassional front yard practice. I am just looking for some fellow players to play with here in Las Vegas. I am a beginner so I would like to hone my skills better. Thanks and I love this sport!!! chris
Welcome chris! Me from Malaysia,Bolehland You can get almost all information about badminton here in badminton central . Its like an encyclopedia of badminton . Hope you enjoy here and playing badminton~
hi Chris(mannyfresssh), welcome to BC .......... F15 . i thought it already retired? no doubt that it is the most successful in missions. how about F22?
Nope f15's will be around for a while. Yeah there are F22's here too. badass planes! thanks for the welcome everyone..
Welcome Manny! I met some really nice players in Las Vegas. Hope you find that as well. Cool to hear that you are managing f-15s. I used to "manage" f-18s back in the day.
thanks everyone. i want to meet some las vegas players and where is a place where i can get a racket at? Thanks
Just a bad joke. Nice in looking or nice in personality? On the other hand, a warm (I know it is hot there) welcome to Manny.

Welcome.. ..to BCDF, mannyfresssh (chris)!..Ah, an ex-SoCal baddy lover. As for your query of places and people to play with, you can head on over to the Places to Play/Local Events->USA West sub-forum and find the infos there. Or if you'd like, here's a quick info link to the Las Vegas badminton scene: http://lasvegasbadminton.com/BadmintonLocations.aspx Keep on coming back and happy surfing in here!
Thanks since I am new to the area would like to make some friends around here too. I will check that out. Thanks.. Anyone from Las Vegas here??
^^As for..^^ ..those "anyone" in Las Vegas, you may want to contact some of the posters in these threads below. Unfortunately, there aren't many "active" BCers (at least "active" in making posts). Warning: not sure if they're still in Las Vegas or not; or if they're still looking for baddy partners or not...go call & wake them up!! Good luck!!.. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43549 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22374 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24157
badminton is almost like F15 dog fighting, it's a 3D game and we unleash bombs and missiles at our opponents The shuttlecock is not a ball but a projectile
I guess thats a good way in putting it.. Good analogy. Yeah getting the full force of a shuttle smash stings!!
mannyfresssh, Don Bolwaire is the man for you. All the information you need in Vegas is in this thread: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43549 Have fun (playing badminton)
so you are a F18 pilot? yeah if you are in the area let have some games setup.. thanks everyone for their welcome..
if you guys are pilots, then you probably hear of red flag? if you guys are coming here for that it would be awesome to meetup with some of you and hang out and play a game or two.
For drifit.. ..if he wants to fly non-stop, he'll need to hook on 8 fuel tanks to his F18 and fly 8,836 miles (or 14,220 kilometers or 7,678 nautical miles) and fly in supersonic style in 8-10 hours, in order to reach the Oasis in the Desert..
