Help to identify real Yonex NS9900
Guys, someone offers me a Yonex NS9900 with serial number on the cone 280882SP. Refering to the s/n listed, is it real or fake one ?
If I'm not wrong, NS9900 was launched in Jan 2009. Does it make sense if the racket was made in Aug 2008 ?
I plan to buy one if it is a real yonex.
Anyone can help me please..
Thanks

sorry, I have no pic at all. Just curious about the date manufactured of this racket.
If no problem with the s/n I will meet the buyer for physical check and make transaction.
Any advise ?

One more thing that confusing me, the seller has more than one NS9900 with same serial number like that. I believe that each racket has different serial number on shaft. But he explain those rackets is made for national players so it might have same serial number. He also said they are not sold in retail store.
Can anyone confirm about that ?

Sorry, I revise my prev posting which said that the seller has same s/n on the shaft on all rackets. After checked by myself, they (batch number) are all unique.
I compared with the original sunrise YY racket, both look same, paint job, characters, cone, grip, frame, grommets, shaft and bottom cap are similar, except no sunrise sticker and the serial/date code isn't match.
The seller said the s/n can not be verified in YY retail database because they were made for sponsorship i.e national player so they were not for sale at retail store and the absent of sunrise sticker is because of they were not distributed through sunrise.
For proof the originality, he strung the racket with BG65 33lbs and its frame is still ok.
Forgive my ignorance, but how do you think, does the seller's reason make sense at all ?Last edited by bemyself; 06-08-2009 at 01:01 PM.
