    "THE" place to play in Ottawa is the RA centre.
    If you're hardcore into badminton, this place is really nice. Especially soaking in the jacuzzi after playing . Membership fees are quite inexpensive compared to most "country club" type places in Canada.

    Are you living in Ottawa or close by? if going to the RA center is too far, let me know, I can try to contact a few people (that are not on this forum) and that play in other clubs.
