sorry for my insignificant terminology. What is pronation? I did go dictionary.com but didn't help it say same face with same face watever. Please help it's important because i found a thread that talking about it in 2003 like wow, and it talked about wrist snap doesn't create more power which that agaisnt my believe. But it is so called 30 years research. if you can help me explain detail with picture step by step, thank you.
There are a few ways in which the wrist can move: flex forwards/backwards, flex side ways, and twist. The twisting movement is called pronation/supination. Some might argue that it isn't a movement of the wrist, but generally when people refer to "wrist action" this is understood to be the main articulation.
Pronation and supination are the two directions of forearm rotation. Hold your arm out in front of you with your palm facing up. Then turn your hand over so that it's palm down. You just pronated. Some people think it's a wrist movement, but actually your forearm muscles do most of the work.
