No qualifiers for Women Doubles and Mixed Doubles?? Is it deliberate or are they actually not getting any enteries?
I heard Indian Badminton Federation is putting bar on number of players they will send for participation in any tournament due to budget constraints! Not sure, how this attitude is going to get exposure to budding players.

I don't think she's a youngsters  She should be of the same age or even older than Maria Kristin. The last time I saw her playing was during the Singapore Satellite 2006 and she lost to a Thai (if I recall correctly). She's lucky to have Liang Chiu Hsia as her coach.

As expected, she cannot clear the Qualifying Round of a SS tourney.

BAM is like that, when he beat some high rank players, BAM already hitting gong like our juniors already very great...another potential victim will be Chan Kwong Beng, after coming 2nd in Pahang Open, his performance will drop...
    sure one....

Chow used to be one half of Poh/Chow, they were back up MD in national squad for a while. They're same batch with Goh/Ong I think but are non-BJSS. Poh/Chow were recruited into BAM after they won some local circuits. Under BAM, pPoh/Chow went for a few Gp Golds, etc.
Then, quiet, dont see Poh's name anymore - maybe he went further studies. Hence, both Poh/Chow no longer with BAM.

Chow now partners Hong (CCE's ex-partner) in International tourneys. Chow is also one half of Cheah/Chow, the recent winner in Pahang Open, MD division 2. I'm not sure why they didnt play in Division 1, maybe cos Cheah is still young, Chow is definitely above 19.
