Party Time!
Someone wake me up when Lazybuddy hits 10,000 posts. Last time i checked he was averaging 17.8 posts per day = not working LOL

I suggest everyone fly to New York and we have a 10,000 post party at an all you can eat shanghai hot pot restaurant. We'll all eat while he strings our racquets and we share badminton wacky moments.

Agree.
Brooklyn Badminton club (@ John Dewey HS) has 8 courts, and very wide range in skill levels. I am sure it will be very easy for you to find a comfortable group. If you need help at the very 1st visit, speak to Sunny (manager) and I am sure he will introduce you around.

You definitely want to bring your own court shoes for you own game performance and safety concern.
Prefer to bring your own rackets, but I believe Sunny sometimes do lend his backup rackets to new comers. We play with feather shuttles, you can bring your own, or you can purchase at the club.

I go there from Queens so I usually take the Belt Parkway west and exit at Coney Island Avenue (something like that?) and turn left at the exit onto Avenue Z. Turn left onto E.12th Street and cross the Belt Parkway over a bridge. At the bottom of the bridge there's a traffic light, turn left at the light. Left again as if you are going towards the Belt again. (Confused already?) Turn right onto the east bound Belt service road. A high school should be on your right. Park and go in. Good luck (You'll probably need it if you can find it based on the very confusing direction I've given...
If you have ever been to Lafayette H.S. Club, you probably already know Benny, the manager there... I haven't been there for a while and the last time I was there, it was about $10 per playing session... Enjoy (if you can find it... :-)
