Hi, I just bought a Yonex Armortec 900 Power on sunday and there is a sunrise sticker covering the date of production cone..if i remove it do i lose warranty?
hmm i have a question...if you break your racket (i.e the frame), should you leave the strings on, or remove it before claiming warranty? (say you go over the recommended tension)
Leave the strings in. They don't have to honour the warranty if they can't see the strings. Also make sure the racket was strung with the Yonex recommended pattern - they won't honour it otherwise.
It's recommended to leave your strings in. Surprizingly, I had my racket replaced by Yonex. It cracked, but I did not realize it until after I cut the strings off after I noticed something odd that looked like a paint scatch until I saw the hairline fracture.
i dont suppose there is a way for yonex to check what the tension was after the head has snapped correct?
they do i believe, assuming they can get one tensioned string, they could get a general idea about the tension at the break.
I suppose it may be possible to find out the tension on the string based on the length of string on a broken racket.
asderin is MIA. i do wonder if we move the thread, do the thread starters lost in finding it? now, we are steering away from his original question.
well if its based on the length of the string, you could also say the strings were pre-stretched or something along those lines right? its hard to prove tension that way, but i see what your saying.
well, when you break a racket, usually, the strings don't immediately lose tension, unless the frame completely gives. they can just find out the relative tension. strings do it to calibrate they machines all the time, no?
