I live around the NW part of Calgary (Sandstone, Macewan) I usually go to Cardel Place and the Chinese Cultural Center. Are there any other places that are convenient? I heard something about something in Beddington?

the beddington club starts up in Sept and goes to early May.
It closes for the summers due to it's a school gym.

If you're looking for places to play in Calgary, check this out.

    http://www.badmintoncalgary.ab.ca/info/clubs/listingbyname.html

they have a bunch of public club names and locations, I usually play at Village Square Leisure Centre on Tuesdays after 7, UofC or Hillhurst (Canadain Indonesian Badminton Club) on Friday (both drop in) and Talisman Centre on Sundays.
For UofC you have to email before hand to reserve a spot, for Hillhurst just show up early, there is a lot of talent at Hillhurst on Fri, and Talisman you have to call and book an hour court time; go with a few friends, you'll be able to book consecutive hours.
:) See you fellas around maybe.
