guys, a local store here have 3 kind of nanospeed 9900

    1. Japan made, SP code...just like usual in normal price
    2. The counterfeit, he said made in china
    3. 100 % Original but made in Taiwan, SP code...shaft code 8852431 cone code 280882SP

im rather interested bout the number 3, is it true that yonex also made their high end racket in taiwan, just like nanospeed 800?

i doubt it. All high end Yonex rackets are made in japan. are you sure he was telling the truth?

Yonex would never produce high-end racquets in Taiwan. Yes, there is a factory in Taiwan, but most of their production lines are low to mid-end.

If you want to believe him, go ahead. But I wouldn't recommend doing so.

hmm....280882SP....which is August 28th, 2008....if i can recall, the Nanospeed 9900 wasnt introduced till early this year. and production of the racket wasn't till late December, early January....
if it was made in august... that would mean it was produced before the arcsaber 9 >.>
BUT!... i guess if the store owner says it was real, it HAS to be real right? anyways good luck with your decision...

I know it, from FJB rite? Bring an original YY to compare, focus on "o" at Yonex font at cone. That's the easiest way, also look for serial number font, bottom cap, position and looks of grommet.

    *update*
the PBSI logo is wrong...thats 100% counterfeit, dont buy it.

If the shop sells a fake.. there's a likely chance that all the others are fake too.
