Hi, so well I think I'm a beginner-intermediate player. For the past few months I've been using a brandless racket, and I can really feel the need to get a better racket. I mainly use smashes, but I do occasionaly use drops. I find a little difficulty clearing with my current racket A few rackets I've been thinkin about getting: At300 At50 At70mg My price range is around $130 usd max. So what racket should I get? I'm limited to yonex because the closest shop only sells yonex. Thanks .
What kind of games do you usually play (Single/Double)? Armortec series is best used in Singles because of their characteristics. However, they may be used in Doubles as well if the player is able to maneuver the racquet fast enough to compensate the speed of a Doubles game. Have you consider going with Armortec 150/30 as well? Armortec 300 maybe kind of hard to find these days, but if you can find it, give it a go! Make sure you test these racquets before you buy them because some people do not like the head-heaviness.
CA for California? Anyways, don't go with the AT70mg. It gives a lot of smashing power, but the maneuverability of it for defending is obstructed due to it's head heaviness. If you're still thinking about going for the ATs listed in your choices, I say go for the AT300. It's a pretty decent racket.
oh, and depending on where you are, chances are you can find a pro shop that sells other brands of rackets. they are cheaper, yet offer the same/ better performance.
Yes. Victor/Wilson/Babolat/Prince racquets are very decent too. You don't have to restrict yourself under the evil empire's trap.
