    I can recommend Asics. If you are heavy, go for A. Gel Sensei 2. If not, A. Gel Blade 2 are supershoes.

    Hi stefanosx,

    If u think that ur Yonex shoes are a bit hard, by all means go and try the Asics (particularly the Gel Tactic which is made for badminton with rearfoot and forefoot gel).

    I myself had used several pair of Yonexes before switching over to Asics.
    Am more comfortable and moving faster now.

    Bear in mind, initially they can be a tight fit but after a month, they adjust to ur feet. :D

    More important, imo, to go for the one that fits you... Both brands makes excellent shoes.

    @stefanox:

    If you are just amateur and play for fun -- go with asics, because the Asics Gel system will give you the best protection for your joints... There are some professional players using Asics -- Tine Rasminssen and Yoachim Person from Denmark.

    If you are training and playing professionally, then go with Yonex, because of the better performance.

    :)

    For badminton I use Asics and highly recomend these:

    I totally agree with that :).
    I had SHB 90 and Gel Blast II and the feeling is very different : the Asics are very comfortable with huge cushion but are less "nervous" and quick than the Yonex.

    SHB100LTD, not much weight in them, which allow your feet to shift direction quickly for quick rallies. Cushioning is pretty good, alot better than the other shoes i've worn.
