I will be moving to Singapore from Hong Kong in early August and would like to look for a place competitively. I'm in my late 30s and is of intermediate level. I may stay in the Kovan or Queenstown area, but not sure if there are any places for good badminton games. I am open to other locations too.

Btw, are the courts in Singapore air-conditioned like those in HK?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There are very few air-conditioned courts in singapore to my knowledge, i've only played in one, at some hotel. There are many places you can get good games, in your post it would seem you are looking for a place with a good badminton community to settle down in? Koven is preety near hougang sportshall, which is packed every night. There are also quite a number of ccs and other places to play nearby.

Thanks. I'm still searching around for places to play. Will probably be easier to decide once I'm there. Will probably need to adjust to non air cond courts, since nearly all courts in HK (the public ones) are air conditioned...lol
