    Welcome to BC

    CH should have lower quality.

CH will have the "CH" on the shaft like SP coded all others will not.

do a search next time ;)

Personally, I think there isn't a difference between CH or UK. The warranty maybe different though.

Hi, Distanc3, when you say have lower quality, do you mean it is not as good quality a racket as the UK made ones? and I did do a search on here before I posted the question but only got info on CH and CN and SP coded rackets :)

It may be a bigger risk of fake rackets having a CH cdoe, but if they are verified genuine Yonex rackets having serials with CH and UK should not make any difference ast they are made in the same japaneese plant and have the same specs and QC..

CH rackets should be avoided as there are higher occurrences of FAKES with CH coded rackets; due to the large amount of counterfeit rackets being made in Asia. UK coded on the other hand have few if any (correct me if i'm wrong but i have not read a FAKE UK coded racket on BC) FAKE rackets.
Quality wise, some Yonex users have sworn by it, others not so much. but do remember each batch of rackets vary slightly so depending when and where you get them. no two rackets are the same ;)

The biggest, and by far the most significant differnace is the CH and the UK.

    Why?

-The UK engraving is more aerodynamic.
-The CH symbol is slightly heavier throws off the balance of the racket.

This in-arguably proves the UK symbol superiority towards the CH.

Sounds like a fake.. But it should be immideately obivous to you if you know how an arc 9 should feel and perform, if you don't or if you can't feel the difference, then why does it matter to you :p

The date code is read as DDMMYX thefore your date code is 5/10/2009. X is ignored. However you need both the serial and date code to verify the racket. Also if you know what the genuine Yonex racket looks like, you would be easily be able to tell a genuine one from a counterfeit one.

    Yap that's right.

As for rackets codes, they are pretty much all the same. As for CH, they are safe, assuming one gets it from a reliable source or from a Yonex Authorized Dealer.

True, no two rackets are the same (lets not go into the rocket science/microscopic like details lol!!) can they will pretty much identical to the QC standards that they were meant for.
