Not much from me. At least from friend who played in Challenger now, mentioned that this hall in Tmn Ceupacs is opening for play on the 1st of August 2009. You need to book the hall in the current Challenger hall near phoenix plaza. Never mentioned any free testing of court or rental fees.

Dear all Valued Customers & Badminton Enthusiast,

Effective 01/08/09, The Challenger Sports Centre Cheras, Taman Connaught, will be moving to a new location at Lot 997, Jln Koop Cuepacs 3F, Taman Cuepacs, Cheras 43200, Selangor.

The new Sports Centre is located approximately 5 mins from our current centre in Taman Connaught. Pls find the attached map to the new centre.

For phase 1, our centre will be outlaying with 20 rubberized Badminton courts, 5 Futsal courts(2 turf courts + 3 rubberized courts), 3 Table Tennis tables and also an Indoor/Outdoor Cafeteria.

We will keep you guys updated when we begin our phase 2 development with more types of sports & facilities during the later stage.

The good news for you guys is that the court rental will remain the same as the current fees structure in Cheras. In addition to that, we have also decided to extend the operating hours from 10.00am till late, everyday.

On top of that, The Challenger Badminton Academy (CBA) training classes for kids/adults will officially be having its training classes effective the 1st of August 2009 at the new centre. For those who are interested, pls contact Chief Coach, Mr. Liew Gavin @ 012-696 3808.
