Hey all badminton experts.. Thinking about buying the Yonex NS9900. But before i do, just wondering if there are any non-yonex rackets that are similar or even close to the quality of high end yonex rackets like NS9900 or ArcSaber 10? All of us know that you pay slightly more for yonex just because it is yonex.. So are they any racket like that.. cheaper but just slightly off from high end yonex.. Exploring before buying NS9.9k Comments....?
I think key question is why are you considering the NS9900? Not many non yonex models have similiar characteristics. Maybe RSL or carlton has models that are similar.
I recommend the Carlton Powerblade 9900 Tour racuqet, which I used as main racquet, cost around 90 usd, half the yonex NS9900 price. But they are different kind of racquets, I have used Yonex NS 9000 s racquet before, and have to say, yonex racquet have good control(even a little) and stiff middle bar than other brands, if you are a powerful player, the Yonex high ends racquet is more suitable for you, other brands may cost less but only achieve 90% or less of it's feeling of use, IMO.
I believe you are asking the wrong question. You don't by a high end racket because it is high end. You choose a racket because it suits your style of play. The weight , stiffness , balance point etc... A high end yonex racket like the Nanospeed 9900 , is a lot more different from a few high end Victor rackets.
I agree with krisss Btw, i m not using yy but i choose one that suit me; if a brand suit me, i wont mind get it even if so call "brandless" Btw, i was using a $10 racket and it is good too But feel the new one i got suits me even better
