Hi all, i m new in badminton but i would like to consider it as a serious regular sport for me whenever i do not need to travel. I m 27, female, 1.7m, slim build. By the way, i would like to first get myself some "serious" gears rather than using my fellow colleagues heavy racket. Please advice. What brand and model of rackets is better? What other gears to look out for? Thanks alot!
1) Welcome to the sport of Badminton. 2) Welcome to BCBF. 3) Actually, trying out different racquets from your friends/members/colleagues is the best way to figure out which racquet suits you the best. So, bring your beautiful smile and ask if you can borrow their better racquet to try and hit a few clear. It will take a week or 2 to find the right one and just buy that one with the same tension and string. 4) Please make sure you get the right shoes. Yes, Yonex shoes are expensive. However, they are the best too. 5) If option 3 is not availible, please spend some fees and get a coach and he/she can help you decide. 6) Clothing optional means, just wear what ever that is comfortable to you and does not obstruct your movement. Does not mean the other way. Good luck
Both SHB91LX or SHB101LX are designed for ladies' market. Either one will do. If not, Asics indoor court shoes will be fine. Just make sure you get a good badminton shoes.
