I alwasy has a question. When I ask my stringer to string my recquet at 25 pounds, how he put the tension since the cross usually should be 2 pounds higher. Does the stringer do 23 x 25 or 25 x 27?

It will depend on the stringer , some stringers may not even add the extra 2lbs/10% on to the crosses.

I think if you asked for 25lbs , then they would do 25 x 27 lbs.

And I always thought, that when racquets have for example 22-25 lbs, I would go 23x25 max, not 25x27.

I've heard about stringing the cross with 2lbs higher...why is that?
