I'm in London I've got 2 different stringers. 1 charges 10 quid (labour only) based in Elephant & Castle 1 charges 8 quid (labour only), but must drop off & pick up racket myself (at underground gates, hee hee) far away (zone 4 Central line East). If you want strings too, then you can expect to pay in the range of 12-18 quid, depending on strings. 12ish usually BG65s, and 18ish usually the Nanogies. Hope this helps.
In Hong Kong, it costs about US$8 to US$18, depending on the type of strings you want. BG65 is the cheapest. Some people on the net even offer as low as US$6.5 but I haven't tried that before as I think it is better to string my racket in a normal shop.
My stringer actually comes to the club I play at to pick it up (normally) and will drop it off - although I use him all the time and he lives quite close. And mine come with the string! I was surprised for £10 , only labour? So I guess the stringing is quite cheap near me! Although their is a lot of competition in my area.
that is probably the reason why. stringers in my area usually are in the $20+ range, but none let their prices fall.
That depends - is this with customer provided string? Over here - $10 dollars labor only (customer provided string).
