Needless to say, both the remaining INA players in the Singles will be eliminated tomorrow by more experienced opponents.

    MD
All the Pelatnas and ex-Pelatnas MD pairs (4 of them) are playing home pairs, so, expect them to cruise through the first round tomorrow. In R16, the top two seeds will again have the easier task. So, Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan and Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki are expected to reach QF without breaking a sweat. Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto is expected to face the young CHN pair Qiu Zihan/Zhang Nan, while Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie might just face their senior Adnan Fauzi/Tri Kusharyanto. Again, I expect both pairs to reach the QF also.

    WD
In the WD, the top-seed Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati also face a home pair in R16, while the fourth-seed Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii is likely to lose to Gao Ling/Wei Yili, also in R16. I don't think Pia Bernadet Zebadiah/Debby Susanto will beat Deng Yuting/Lu Lu in the first match tomorrow. All in all, expect only 1 INA WD pair in the QF.

    XD
I will expect both Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto and Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah to beat their opponents. The match between the ex-Pelatnas pair of Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa and the upcoming pair of Ahmad Tontowi/Richi Puspita Dili will be an interesting one to watch. AG/Vita might just edge it experience-wise.

Overall, INA's biggest chance of winning a title in Manila this week is probably in MD, thanks to the withdrawal of Hendri/Hendra and Choong/Lee. We shall see if Bona/Ahsan and either AG/Alvent or Rian/Yoke can create an all-INA Final. Next will be in XD, which is likely from the newly formed pairing of Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa.

How come MAS fans so lazy? Just "all the best", while INA fans come up with detailed analysis.

I am so hopeful this time... MD and XD shall be INA's... I think Alvent-Hendra and Vita-Hendra has the best chance... ;) It should still be their time... Veterans don't die easily... :D

I think it is because MAS just won 2 titles in INA Open...:crying: while INA got none in our own home-turf... :crying: We didn't get a birthday cake in our own birthday party... :crying: Our neighbours did.

So INA fans want to experience victory/glory ...much more than the MAS fans... :p

    Somewhat interesting matches in R16:
Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan [1] vs Krishnan Yogendran/Yeoh Kay Bin -- Bona/Ahsan have the easiest road to the Final. If they win this one, they will face another home pair in the QF and probably Edo/Lingga or Chen/Shen in the SF.

Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie vs Adnan Fauzi/Tri Kusharyanto -- a potentially tricky match for Edo/Lingga against their seniors.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [5] vs Zhang Nan/Qiu Zihan -- given their form, AG/Alvent should progress. They are expected to test Rian/Yoke and potentially Gan/Tan for a place in the Final.

Pia Bernadet Zebadiah/Debby Susanto vs Yoshimi Hataya/Sachiyo Imai -- again, I am not sure if Pia/Debby can progress to QF
