Dorysan, there is a sticky thread under this sub-forum dedicated for checking Yonex racket's authenticity by verifying shaft and cone serial number. You may want to post on that thread following the standard format.

From the look at your cone code; your racket seems to be manufactured on June 20th, 2007 - which raise an eyebrow since MP100 has been discontinued before 2007. I might be wrong though; hence the best way to check is to verify the shaft and cone code

Just by the serial number, it is very difficult to determine if teh racket is a fake or not. What you need to provide are pictures of the racket(if possible) and the experts here can help you determine if its a fake ot real.

    Yeah that would be idea.

Serial numbers can be copied , and unfortnateley even fakes are becoming almost perfect!

So posting pictures up will be the best option.

"For the cone code of 200675SP (date=20 Jun 2007), the valid shaft serial should be close to 6969000."

    Don't buy it [IMG].
