Grip shifted, not overlapping
I just got a new racket with factory grip and after a few hours of play, part of the grip moved. It is no longer overlapping. I can almost see the wood. I moved it a little and part of it is side by side now. Is it still ok to put overgrip on? Will the overgrip do this? How to prevent it?

overgrip will just cover it up, and leave it as it is. to help the grip on the racket, i recommend get a replacement grip, and change it with the one you currently have. that will allow for better grip, and if you choose to place overgrip, will probably provide a better base.

If you choose to put the new grip over it, then wrap it tightly.

if that happens i would just unwrap the under grip and wrap it back so that its tight
then apply the overgrip
