Hi to all badminton fanatics out there. Just had a talk w/ another badmintonforum member and this idea came up:

    Badminton Forum Open Tournament

This can be held in your respective regions so travel is easier. There are also ideas of a east coast vs. west coast competition in US. There are so many possibilities, we can list results on the site. Let me know what you all think.

    haha. interesting.

but how do we determine who's the winner? or is everyone the winner?

ps. should be called BadmintonCentral Open. haha. that sounds pretty cool. :)

Hey! Excellent idea! If enough peple are interested, and if they don't mind coming to Southern Califorina, I will see if I can find a nice gym to hold the tournament. :)
    How else is interested??

I guess initially there will be draws to determine the players at each region and from that, we can determine the winners of each region after the tournament is played. For those that want to go further, the winners from each regions can all meet and play at a designated location and the true badmintoncentral tournament winner can be determined. :D

yeah. or we can do it in SD... :) it wil have a bigger catchment area for all the folks in S. California.

or we can do it in Canada, there are lots of people from Canada here.

    Sounds like it's time for....

ROAD TRIP! Load up the VAN with beer, pretzels, birdies and racquets and let's drive it on down to sunny SD! It's starting to get a slight chilly these past weeks. Would make for a pleasant little break... Any takers from Vancouver? WWC, Viver, Timeless?

Count me in lah... the "lazybuddy" from New York... Even though, sometimes, very lazy, but if this is true, I will be the 1st one to sign up to represent East. Just hope I won't let our US East lose too fast.

    Coool...

Yes each region has their own playdowns first. That way I won't have to take a long trip just to have my ass kicked.:D However I'd show up to the Toronto section of the tournament to get my whuppin'.:p
