Hi i've been playing badminton for 4-6 months now and ive caught on really quick i have a deep passion for the game and i continuosly want to improve and get better. I can beat most of my teachers and all the students in my SChool. And at the moment im using a Slazenger Power Blade Ultra. Now i kno most people don tlike this racket but its so nice and light it had a balance between power and control and the grip is non slipper even if u sweat buckloads. But now i feel as if the racket wont do me any good now that i wanna get better and reach a higher level so i was thinking any Ameuer+/Intermediate - rackets you would recommend Along with strongs and Tension?

    If its of any important im 5'6 10st ( 63kg )
I like smash the shuttle cock and play drop shots and accurate shots so i need a racket that is both great for power and control. My budget is under £70 and i prefer light/medium weight rackets no heavy ones plz. i LIKE MY GRIP TO BE FIRM BUT SOFT and non slippery when i sweat
SO any rackets u wud recomment for Smasshing and dropping?
    any strings?
what tension?please reply and give ur recommeendations i would like ur help

Black Knight powerchannel 20 is an excellent racket. I use yonex bg 70 at 24 pounds. However it is recomended you use ashaway strings(I only have yonex).

Any tension higher than 23-24 and you'll putting yourself at risk of frequent re-stringing.

well, i would say start out with BG65, or maybe MP-XL. both are good strings, but i much prefer MP-XL. also 22-24 pounds should be good.

Yonex Nanospeed 800, head-light and stiff enough for you.
    Babolat X-Lite
    HEAD Metallix 8000
Some of Carlton's racquets made suit your style as well...But I'm not familiar with the brand particularly.

In regards to strings, am guessing your using plastic shuttles. Use either BG68TI/BG70PRO/NBG95/GOSEN70. They are good for plastic shuttles. Use them at 22-24lb tension (as jymbalaya mention :) )
