No no they're not, not at ALL. Very legitimate store based here in the U.S.

Zymax sets for 5USD, reels for 90USD. Best price I've found so far. And for me, a reel gets shipped free b/c its over $75, but that only applies for within the contiguous 48 states.

Sweet, thanks for the info. 5 bucks is a good deal....hopefully their shipping isn't horrendous.

Hahaha yea it is a very very good deal. I mean, its the same price as BG65 so i mean, I may make ZM70 my default stringing string when someone wants a generic string.

$5 for each Zymax or MicroPower pack sounds good =)
    Shipping is $4.5 per order

Haven't ordered yet, so can't comment on the store yet...anyone order from them before?

Just got a reel of zymax 67...and so far, I'm impressed! When it comes to tension holding, this string is far above any others I've tried. Because of this, as many people who posted before me have said, ZM should be strung 1-2 lb looser than other strings to have the same feel. I used to use microlegend XL @ 26/28, and could still feel a "trampoline effect" on my smashes. With zymax 67 at the same tension, my string bed feels like concrete! The sound, accuracy, and tension holding properties are top-notch, but I can't comment on repulsion yet, since ZM67 @ 26/28 is too tight for me I'm going to try 24/26 once my current strings break.

I've ordered from them before, no problem at all. Bought 10 packs of string, shipping is cheap, it was efficient too. Highly recommend. I'll be getting a reel or two from them in the next month or so.

I can get them cheaper than US$5 per pc, if the quantity is say 100 pcs or more.

I'm sure you could, but at that point, you just buy a reel. 90 usd for a 200 meter reel, 22 rackets per reel, that's $4.09 per "pack"

Dink and I were discussing the Zymaxes and we both realised that we find 67 to be significantly less stiff than 62 and 70. I'm wondering if colour has anything to do with it - the 62 and 70 I tried were both Optic while the 67 is white.

I tried a 70 racket (an HPS cheapo) on Friday and I would say the 70 and 62 are almost identical apart from the obvious increase in gauge - 70 also comes with more bass. I found myself holding back less with 70, so it is certainly worth further testing.

For sure white performs the best on ZM62 and ZM70 which so far have comparable perform relative to string thickness.

ZM67 doesn't seem to perform as well. It seems to be softer, not as crisp, nor as repulsive (again, relative to its string thickness).

Dink, so the platinum 67 is butter then the white?

No, platinum is the same as silver, the exact name is "platinum silver". Based on only a few tries with each, white is better but neither is as good as ZM70, relatively speaking.

It's not to say ZM67 is average or below, it's a good to very good string but it's not first-rate like ZM62 and ZM70 in white.

so what are the difference between the 67 and the 70 except the diameter?
for what reason the 70 is better?

    Please re-read Post # 165. It's clearly stated.
