Does that mean that there is likely to be a ZM 0.65 (Pro) in the near future?
Cheers

strung ZM70 on a AT700 @ 25x26. i have another AT700 strung with BG80 @ 25x26 also and was able to do A/B compare. ZM70 feels horrible. no feel, dull, not repulsive at all. every shot just end up with a thud and all power gone. i am even tempted to just cut it off, which is very rare for me.

I haven't tried ZM70 yet, but have tried both ZM67 & ZM62; with BG 80 at 25lbs as my regular setup on my Panda T1s.
Comparing ZMG 67 to BG80 at the same tension, the BG80 feels quite a bit livelier, although power-wise they are pretty much on par. I reckon the ZM67 will need to be strung 1 or 2lbs higher to match the feel of BG80; so I guess the same would apply to the ZM70, perhaps more so since it's a thicker string.
ZM62's feel and power is top notch, just that I haven't managed an hour with them yet before they go ping!

after reading so much post on zymax strings i decided to string my only one souvenir racket from misbun sidek at 24-26lbs with zm62 and it broke after i played only 3 times, maybe after 20 sets. but the feel is a little better than bg 66 and i think because of its thinner gauge. still prefer bg 65 at 26-28lbs. would be even better if i dare 28-30lbs.

i am afraid to say that the ZM70 is the second string i will be cutting this week. some client gave me a racket with fresh BG65 that he didn't want. and now this ZM70... bad karma.

kwun, when you play with it i am sure you notice the string swaying left and right when you chop or even worst when you slice!
i find it very irritating actually, trying to align them as i play!
i think this string is just too fine for me but anyway its an easy string, anybody can just get used to it within minutes!
and sure beats a hell lot of other strings in the market for the thin string...

kwun, your cab 22 is it the original shape and length, i mean older model, i haven't been following yonex models lately.
if that is the case at 24lb would be tighter than the newer frame models.
also if i still remember, cab 22 is a stiff racket and probably good for a thinner gauge strings.

yes. it is oval shaped and thus has a smaller frame so the effective stiffness will be higher. i ended up stringing it at 22.5lbs to compensate for the smaller frame and also Dink's suggestion on lower tension. (i didn't go as far as 2-3lbs though)
just finished it, actually. the thin gauge made it pretty fast. i think i did it in 40mins without rushing it, which is pretty decent time for me...
will report on how it plays when i get to use it next week!

well damn. that didn't even last 3 days. i already snapped it on a mishit.

you might have played with it a little longer if it was strung at 20lbs being a conventional frame for your cab 22
and i think that was the recommended max. pulling tension
the mishit probably at top of the frame
nothing much we can do if we like the thin gauge accept to lower the pulling tension!

I think I am going to try ZM70, for my doubles racket, currently I am using 28lbs, for doubles, should I go to 30lbs ? Also what is the best colour for performance ?
