Haha if that's what tension the Great Panda uses, I know I definitely won't go near that.

Just out of interest, kwun, what frequency and relative tension do you think Koo/Tan and Lee/Jung are using by listening to the warm up hits?

very hard to tell. the sound from the recording is not that good, and then the sound when hitting the shuttle is often different than pure plucking the string sound.

What tension of ZM70 should I be using for my upcoming Panda Power Precision racket? Currently, I'm using a BG85 strung at 24 lbs. with my fake Armortec 700 racket.

I'd say to probably use ZM70 at maybe 25, ZM67 at equal tension, ZM62 at 23. This is what I would recommend a customer. I would normally recommend 62 to be 2 pounds lower, but I do not feel 22 pounds is a very playable tension.

Of course, when I string for customers, if they want to try out new string, I will only charge them for cost of string initially, and if they like my recommendation, then they can pay me cost of labor. If they don't like the feel, we try again.

Hmmm, ok. Panda recommended I try 24 but it seems to be a low tension for such a nice racket and a thick string? So 25 is really the best way to try first?

Well if the Panda recommended 24, i'd defer to him. He is one of the best here, and I would respect his opinion more than my
    own.

I thought so too. I explained my level of gameplay and he recommended that I start to experiment first at the middle and that would be at 24 lbs. Is the ZM70 included in the strings that seem to be have a feel of higher tension than that of the actual tension applied?

All of ZyMax has that feel to it when compared to strings of similar thicknesses and materials.

Ok. By the way, does Panda install the Ultimate Grip in his Panda Power rackets if requested?

I believe he does, he can do almost all the RKEP grips, but to be honest you may want to do it yourself. That way you can experiment with different thicknesses of wrapping before you actually cut the grip.

Hmmm, let me think about that. I already found my desired thickness with the Ultimate Grip on my previous racket though. I'll ask Dan about this.
