You guys must have some secret about stringing this ZM62, I have had ZM62 strung up on various racquets in occasions by good stringers, non of them would last more than 3 games. The latest victim is a Precision with ZM62 @26x28lb and it almost get to finish the second game. Where as, my usual string, BG80 would last in the upwards of 2 months.
I do adjust the tension a bit depends on racquets, but my usual tension is:
For BG80, 26x28lb 10% pre-stretch
For ZM62, 26x28lb no pre-stretch or 25x27lb with 10% pre-stretch
The ZM62 feel so good while it last ..........................

The fixed clamps I have are for tennis. They are great for tennis and racquetball. They are thick and the teeth are spaced wrong for badminton crosses. Flying clamps are faster still for me. I'm still looking for the right badminton fixed clamps.

I am a descent hitter but certainly not in the class of hard hitter at all. Pete_LSD easily kick my bud using his left hand with one eyes closed, let alone his right with the cleaver.
Guess I need to improve and pay more attention on hitting the sweet spot every time.
I still have one Precision with ZM62, going to be real careful on this one to see if it could survive through a 2 hour section.

I snapped my ZM62 today. It was on a mishit smash, just south of the sweetspot. I'm going to try for a compromise and do ZM67 at 27lbs, see what happens.

would also be interested in performance of ZM67@27lbs. i have previously strung it at 24lbs and while performance was better than bg80, it is still no where near ZM62@27
i just strung my ARC10 with ZM65@27lbs. will report once i try it out.

The ZM67 is not as good as the ZM62 in power and playability although it is more durable. The reason is the huge difference between the thickness of the two strings-thinner strings, AOTBE, will always be better than their thicker cousins except for durability.
If you must use ZM67 or ZM65 then try to increase racket speed by omitting two bottom cross strings, the second string and the fourth string from the bottom. It does help quite significantly.

Hi All,
I've just tried ZM70 @23lbs and like it a lot. Compared to my usual string BG65ti the ZM70 has better power and better feel. I'm considering giving ZM62 and ZM67 a try and would appreciate advice on what tension I should use? I've heard that ZM62 should be 2lbs lower than usual, is this correct? Worried about durability of ZM62 so hopefully stringing at a relative low tension of 21lbs should last longer? Has anyone had experience of ZM62 at low'ish tensions?
Lastly, my stringer doesn't stock ZM62 or ZM67 so can anyone recommend where I can buy these in the UK?
Thanks!

You can get them from

or Watdon - they usually supply trade/stringers, but no harm in trying

I have tried the ZyMax 62 and 67...The 62 didn't last more than 2 games during a tournament. The 67 was used for the rest of the games which lasted more than 5 hours of play.
The tension on 62 is great compare to 67. However, my preference is 67 for durability even if it is minor tension difference.
I'll try the Zymax 70 later and see how it goes...
For the price and performance, Ashaway Zymax string rocks.
