You might not recommend it, but honestly, if he likes it, he likes it. That's what really matters in the end.
I do 67 @ 24 for mains, 62 @ 26.5 for crosses. I'm sure you definitely don't recommend it, but because I love how it plays, Im going to stick with it.
Orgasmerator, go ahead and keep playing with your string combo. As long as you like it

So, I restrung my AT 700P at 24 x 26 with Zymax 62 and it broke in one hour with no mishits. The tension felt strong as if it were 29 lbs. So, for this third attempt, I'm going to try 23 x 25.
As I said earlier, I like the overall feel of the string but durability is a concern. FYI, I also use Ashaway's Flex 21 Micro and its durability has not been a concern. For me, the string has great feel and has lasted 1 month. I'll keep experimenting with the tension on the Zymax until I find the best one that fits me.

I was curious to the dual string as well. If it works in tennis, it should work even better in badminton, no? Instead of thinking negatively, I saw it as having the durability of the 67 without sacrificing anything since the 62 is there to provide as well.
Still going strong since my last post.

Very thin strings like the ZM62 are easy to snap even with the first shot. This is because feathers, unlike plastics, do have sharp edges (insofar as thin strings are concerned), and any shots shots taken lower than the norm have a higher risk of actually "cutting" the strings.
For players who do not not mishit or who take shots at the highest point, string breakage is reduced. If shots are taken lower than optimal you tend to hit more of the feathers instead of the base.

I been using my Zymax 62 white 25lbs on my T2 for 4 to 5 sessions and it is still going strong. However, i do notice that it does drop tension after some use. Just that it is not as significant as other strings. But definitely not like what the package claims. Another thing i noticed was that compare to other string freshly strung, 62 is the most crisp string i ever tried and it is really hard like a board. I was wondering if any other players also observe the tension loss too.

I tried the ZM62 twice on my reackets, not managed to observe tension loss on the ZM62 due to the fact they both only lasted up to an hour before snapping, despite changing the grommets prior to stringing. My fault though, for daring to try them out in the middle of winter!

I think the whole thing about tension loss is because you snap it so fast you won't have a chance to feel the tension loss. LOL

Seems like if you're going to use Zy62 as a go-to you either need to
a) be a stringer yourself, or
b) live next door to one
I'm going back on it this week to try it again, but my previous foray gave me only positive impressions: it's easy (in fact, the easiest) to string with, outrageous power, excellent control and it's not particularly expensive. Oh, and it held tension brilliantly.

I have gone through about 14 Zymax 62 strings over the last 8 months. about 8 of them just snapped during the very first 10 minutes, due to mishits. for the ones that I didn't mishit, they lasted over 1 month, about 40+ hours.
I did notice small tension drop, but not much comparing to BG-65 or even BG-80.

To the people who are going through ZM62 like its going out of fashion, what tension are you playing at?

I just strung my Li-Ning UC2200B with Zymax 67 at 25x27. I have never strung with a string that has so little slack before. This string looks like it will hold tension very well!
