I'm playing now with an ArcZ and a TI-10 3rd Gen. Love them both. Slightly different but they play somewhat similar.

Used to have 800DE but broke in a clash.
Tried the Arc10, didn't like it (felt slow)
Tried the Arc7, it's ok (not much power)
Tried NS9900, loved it but was too much $$ at the time
Tried AT900P and T, P felt ok, T felt weird

For the record, I hate playing singles.

As Twobeer's quote indicates, the Arc Slash is a failure worldwide, but (mainly Asian) Yonex fans are so obsessed and blinkered that they write so much rubbish about their beloved Yonex. Sorry, but most good players saw through the hype that was being put out by the Yonex marketing department ages ago. I'm amazed this thread has still got any life in it.

Yes, yonex has had a success since the 9900, but apart from that, I can't remember a "hit" racket

Btw, does it exist an indication about the sells of baddy equipment worldwide or the brands keep it secret ?

The big success started much more early than 9900 !
Btw, for me the big hits last years are At700,At900p, ns9000 and Arc10

Exactly LD. The world is changing. Yonex may still be the biggest manufacturer of rackets (I assume), BUT they no longer produce the best rackets, ALL THE TIME. The Arc Z Slash is a dud. Actually, it's half way to being a good racket - it's just that the other half is so poor. ;-)

And then which brand produces good racquets ?
I assume Babolat does, but for the moment my confidence goes to Yonex

Agree a lot with you. AT700, yes. AT900P - err, well, maybe the AT900T. NS9000, yes. Arc10, divided a lot of peoples opinion. Arc Z Slash, not in the same ball park.

    Hmm
    NS9900, Yes
    AT700, ...yes
    AT900T, yes
At900p, well, from what most users have said, they much prefered the AT900t over P
    ArcZ, NO
Arc10, yes and no, benifit of the doubt here, (hesitant yes)
Arc9, yes just for the paint scheme
Arc7, well thom_bad has one, so I refuse to comment

LoL the Arc7 isn't a good racquet because I have one, but I have one because it is a good racquet
