Nice idea:). In the gym we normally get 80's rock (Europe - no need to name the track;), Asia - Heat of the Moment, John Farnham - You're the Voice, John C. Parr - St Elmo's Fire, for example) and power ballads (REO Speedwagon - Can't Fight This Feeling, Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now or We Built This City, etc) and we find these brilliant at keeping us going. There's a noticeable lull when some new s**te comes on: Laroux's In for the Kill seems to come up once in every ten songs and we HATE it:mad:. Go for rock all the way, I say.

    Ever thought about Ultravox's Vienna?:D

Anything that keeps you in a positive frame of mind. Whether it be something that makes you happy or just a feel good song.

Or a fast paced loud song which pumps you into the feeling. Its not the specifics itself, but mainly the "positive" mindset which you need to achieve.

Experiment with a few of the latest songs from a few different genres and see how you go ;)

I find myself i could listen to any genre as long as it makes me feel good. Then i play better because the positivity and enjoyment carrys me alot further. And i get less frustrated with simple things.

Of course fast music is quite good for example for intervall training but artist or songtitle would be easier for somebody to get an idea where to look for.
So pls tell us some artist/ songtitles :)
I like listen to Slipknot, Linkin Park, Pendulum, Korn, Bachelor of Science just few to name for training.
And i´ve never heard of Ultravox's Vienna but they kinda... sucks. :p

To me listening to the Lonely Island song like 'Jizz in my Pants' and 'I'm on a Boat' seems to take my mind off things and relaxes me so if I've just come off playing badly that seems to help me because I find when playing if I'm tense or anything or I start to make stupid mistakes, being relaxed seems to help me take my mind off the game in a way and not bugger it up so much

I'm on a boat is such a good song to get you in the mood for kickin some backside, big confidence boost. Its like "yes, you might be able to smash through a stone wall, but i'm on a boat, deal with it".

Awesome! I love High Contrast and old school Pendulum.

Sometimes I listen to music that reminds me of when I did well, so I can be inspired to do so again (doesn't happen though).
