    Hey,
I was wondering, since we have so many people from the GReat white north, if antone here is into hockey? I started playing badminton before hockey, after,I noticed my fitness, and power improved rapidly.

I am a hockey fan, too. I prefer "street hockey" over ice hockey, though.

I think hockey can improve on move quickness and quick response/reaction, too.

I played hockey quite a bit when I was younger but I don't follow the sport unless it's a special event (eg. NHL finals, Olympics, etc.).

I play a lot of street hockey and i think it helps enhance hand dexterity as there is a lot of quick hand/wrist motions involved in deking and puck-handling. It also helps in increasing stamina with the amount of running back and forth. But I'd pick badminton any day of the week!! :D

Actually, sometimes, I even have to "lying on the groud" (make a save), while others have to "running" like crazy... :D

prefer floor hockey more since I am absolutely horrible on rollerblades or ice skates. I played goalie a lot too, guess I was just big enough to block most of the net by just standing there. :D
