when buying badminton shoe. do u buy something which just fit u or 1 size extra. example u normaly wear size 8 but u buy size 9. does it make u feel comfortable as there will be extra space for ur toes to move instead of cramping them together. so to sum up which is the correct way to buy shoe. exactly fit u or 1 size larger than usually. does badminton shoe shrink when it been watch or long term use?
I would say it would be no different than buying your typcial shoes. Just gave the gap just right so your foot and shift confortable (not tight so your toes get cramped, or not too open that your toes swim). Badminton shoes wouldn't shrink, but I would assume they may expand a bit as per the break-in peroid.
I normally wear a size 11US shoe for my casuals. But recently i bought a 10.5 size court shoes from ADIDAS, and I just want to know, why are my pinky toes cramping up? Is the smaller size making my toes cramp?
Correct way to buy a shoe: Make sure you have enough $$ > Go to the targeted shop > Choose the shoe you want > Try and test the shoe (Run, jump, skip etc etc. Shoe fits nicely and snug. No tight feeling at the toe area and not too right on the lateral area as shoe will expand after some time) > Test as many as you like > Decide and pay > Go home, thinking and dreaming to get into the shoes on court to test it out!
