BG 66M string doesn't seem that durable. It only lasts one week for me. I use 25lb (main) 26lb (cross) tension. What about you guys? is the tension too high for this string?
I am kinda disappointed. I think Nanogy 98 lasted longer for me.

I believe the nanogy series is billed to be ultra power/ultra durability/lack of feel while the 66 line is ultra power/ultra feel/lack of durability. While I exaggerated this a tad, I think it illustrates why the nanogy series last longer than most strings
It also depends on how hard you hit, how many times you hit off center or hit frame shots, humidity and temperature, etc.

I know what you mean. But durability wise it should be better than bg 80 according to Yonex. Right? At least that's my understanding. Should I lower my tension. I usually string it at 25-26 and it lasts for a week (playing 4 times a week about 2 to3 hour each time). I do miss hit sometimes which is normal. What about you guys. How long it lasts for you? What's the tension do you use?

I have tried BG66 Sharp, BG66, NBG 98 & BG66 Maxima. BG66 lasted you two months, that's amazing! I get about 3 weeks tops. BG 66 sharp is a bit thicker and tended to last longer than BG66 standard. Of all these strings, NBG98 is the most durable by far & still very playable. BG66 Maxima has very nice feeling, but a bit less durable. The formula seems to be more durable than BG66 standard even though it's thinner. (Impressive!)
It's essentially the same string with a different package. Don't expect anything greater than standard BG66

I had two racquets strung at 28lbs with bg80jp and bg66m.
The bg80 lasted me a month while the bg66m lasted me only ten minutes.
The fast breakage might have been my fault ( possible miss-hit although the center main broke ), the stringer's fault ( weird stringing pattern ) or the racquet's fault ( even bg65 at 23lbs manual crank broke in a month on that racquet ).. or a combination of all

Nanogy are meant to be durable strings, the BG-66M can last me for approx 3week to 1 month of 2hrs / 4 days a week of play @ 25lb main 27lb cross. on a Arcsaber Z...
i really love it, with normal BG-66... i break it in 3 days... awaiting for mybadmintonstore to restock >.< im running low on it.. gonna buy 50 strings this time!

Hi All
I want to make a brief comparison between ZM62 and BG66M.
I purchased a mint condition second hand T2v1 with specs85g/BP287 (without strings) which was strung with ZM62 at 28lbs (had lost little tension) and the original leather grip was replaced with a Karakal Super PU grip. So fully loaded the specs changed to 95g/BP283. Last week strings broke so had it restrung with BG66M at 27lbs, now specs are 95g/BP285.
With ZM62 smashes were powerful and accurate, clears and cross-courts were carried out with ease and drop shots were also accurate. I did find net play and short serves rather difficult to control but this may be due my lack of technique.
With the BG66M smashes were again powerful and accurate, clears and cross-courts were no problem but more power was need compared to the ZM62. I did find the sweet spot with the BG66M larger. Also I found my short serve and net play were more accurate and that I had more control. I just found that the BG66M had more 'grip'.
Overall, I prefer the BG66M. I am looking forward to trying the ZM Pro which according to Dinkalot is a .65 version of the ZM62.
I might add that I am not an advanced player and also the strings were a different colour; the ZM62 yellow and the BG66M white. The reason I mention this is that other BC members have indicated that the colour of the string makes a difference to its playing properties.
Any comments welcome.
