    Hey guys,

I have recently started playing badminton for fun with friends and family. The rackets we have came with the set and are terrible. We normally play mixed doubles so it's social but we still play to win.

I am looking to purchased two rackets. I am a total noob when it comes to this so any links and or advice is greatly appreciated. I'm a bigger guy and only 5'10'' My partner is 5'7'' and isn't very strong and fast. Not sure how much weight of the racket is important but I figured I would throw it out there.

My budget is around 50 - 75 bucks per racket. Where can I get some good close out specials? I always like a good deal!

    Thanks in Advance!:D

If you are playing just for fun and not competitive, I recommend low end Yonex Isometric series. They are great for value and price!

Went to purchase the rackets today and they wanted to charge me 25 dollars for shipping. We are both in the US and that's rediculous. :crying:

Other choices you can consider are:

    www.badminton.net
    http://www.racketsupply.com
    Supreme Sports Supply
    P.O. Box 855, Rockville, MD 20848
    (301) 924-4918 (probably closer to you)

Most of the bigger badminton retailer are in CA, which means the shipping cost will be higher.
