My girlfriend is pretty good, she is now using wilson k-kblaze and thinking about something new. I was thinking i get her Arcsaber 9 or nanospeed 7700, i am open for other suggestions. She is an all around player who mostly plays doubles. She thinks of herself of more attacking player. So what do you think i wouldn't go for anything stiff, so what would you recommend me to get for her.
no she is more all around that like to smash, so all around racket that isnt just for defending. Armortec series is very stiff, witch one ware you thinking about. Maybe armortec 600, is it any good?
If she is more into attacking, I would suggest to go for Arc Saber 9. Nanospeed 7700 is light-head racket which enable the player to quickly manuver the racket hence providing solid defensive playing, but unfortunately lacking power when comes to attacking.
You may want to look at Arc Saber 7 or Armortec 800 Off as alternative to Arc saber 9. Arc Saber 7 pretty much similar with Arc Saber 9 (minus pink color of course), but provides greater attacking power. Armortec 800 Offensive is rather head-heavy racket, but i feel it is not as heavy as or as stiff as AT900 or AT700. Stiff racket is not necessarily bad though .. you can accurately control the shuttle once you get use to the racket. Regarding AT600, I would suggest you stay away from it. To me, it's kinda a let down. the 4U frame is simply fail to produce any power. I would rather going for MP88 rather than AT600
Try the ARC7, ARC9, AT900T (try 3U), or a nanospeed 9000S. These are all medium to stiff, but aren't extra stiff, so should be suitable for her. In order of how heavy and stiff they feel: AT900T > NS9000S > ARC7/ARC9 where AT900T is the heaviest and stiffest.
woven 9 apacs furious 767, tantrum 11 rsl 4900 would be good candidates with bg66 or the latest ashaway strings.
i think i will go with arcsaber 9 3u, so far nobody convinced me otherwise, i think that AT900t is too stiff. PS: i have arc10, is at900 stiffer than arc10
no the arc 10 and at900t is about the same stiffness Go for arc 9 nice coulour even balanced medium stiffness can't go wrong really
Actually, I feel another option is AT600. My wife just try a newly strung AT600 this morning and she love the clearing and smashing power. However, the defense is a little slower. I think ARC9 will be the best if she is all around (not her figure) player. While if she want to smash more, AT600. Either way, I do have 1 AT600, 2 NS7700 and 2 ARC9 I want to sell. All brand new never used before and unstrung. PM me for detail...
If it has too be yonex, NS4500 is not bad as well. It is medium flex but not too head light. I think Arc9/Arc7 would be best though.
