Two sessions of 2-hours game-play a week now. It is a classic example of mind willing to do more but body just refuse to co-operate.

While on the badminton team I played every day 2 hours...that was great. That would be the only reason I'd ever get out of bed and go to school: to play badminton at the end of the day.
Badminton season's over though . Now what'll I do...

I practice Sunday's, train on Tuesday nites 5-7, then play singles, mixed, and two doubles on Tues nights, and train on Thursdays nights 5-7pm.
And I like to run once a week as well. I want to train on Monday's as well.
And I've started Saturday mornings for an hour, foot work drills.

Yes, it does amaze me that some people can play seven days a week. Well, these people probably don't have a job or family to take care of(not saying you have no life besides badminton). If I am lucky, I can play once a week.

I used to play about 4 to 5 times a week. But when I am overaeas, I will usually still play at least 4 times a week. My wife said I am Mad but I love this game very much so to say Bad Addict.

Some update on my "lazier" life style:
Used to play 4-5 times a week, but for the past 2.5 months, I think I played no more than 5-6 times in total. No wonder I am gaining weight in no time...

Out of curiosity for those who qualify for being classified as extreme in my books, don't your body crave for a break if you play 4-5 hrs a day ?
That's like 15-20% of your time and with a decent 8 hrs of sleep everyday, you are only left with 11-12 hrs for other things. Don't you study or work?
Or is there a secret energy potion that you consume ??

new schedule, yee-hah!!!!
it's 6 days for me...
monday: 07:00-08:15 or soemthing, morning practise
thuesday: 2 hours evening practise
wednesday: morning practise+ evening practise
thursday: midday practise
friday: mornign practise
sunday: competition (yet to start)
You really have to focus your week on it...I loce to do it, and it feels like a dream come true (have yet to start mornign practise....tomorrow). but there's not much lumbering about behind a computer, no clubbing and stuff...a lot of 'no' but I really really like it...
I (so far) can't say I need a break....because I love the game so much...
The Downside...my legs are kinda still sore from last sunday: not much recovery with such a great/sadistic trainer and I like it...
