At the moment I'm playing once every Friday, for at least 2 and a half hours... I hope to double/triple this amount soon, though.

You people are lucky
I only get to play about three times a week because of; school, money, lack of people to play and availability of courts

Four times times a week plus one day training depending on my schedule.
Wednesdays - 8 to 11pm with my officemates or 8 to 12pm with my Badminton Group (Timog Titans). Average of 4 light games per night
Fridays - 9 to 12pm with college varsity players. 4 to 5 hard games (8 to 10 sets)
Saturdays - 5 to 12 pm at our home court. 8 to 10 medium games (20 sets average)
Sundays - 2 hour training session
That was 6 months ago...
Due to my hectic schedule for the last 6 months...i only play regularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Wednesday games are only twice a month and no more trainings on Sundays...

all you need to do is join a club or two and then there will never be a lack of people to play with. you would also get training sessions and matches on top.

I started at senior-practices when I was 15, perhabs you should do the same, you probaly get beaten pretty badly, but you will learn SO much ...

i'm 14 and i play for the seniors, as long as you find the right category of ability to go into then you won't get beaten badly. the benefit i have gained is great, i can return more powerful smashes easier now.

Well I got beaten pretty badly at that time but it wasnt a low level they played, and still aren't. Unfortuantly I didnt have the choice of what level of seniors I would train at, I got an Take-it-or-leave offer. But as you've said yourself the things you learn are incredible, because senior practice is on i much higher level and with much more intensity you can do nothing but improve your self and your footwork.

you were probably practising a wrong skill or you were overworking your body. now you play less your body can isn't being put to work as much.

i aim to play 3 days on average a week. 2 days in the backyard for 30 min to an hour, and i play at the club once for 2 hours or more.... not including shadow training and other conditioning i try to fit in.

When I went through the poll results I could see that 3.72%voters play 8(eight ) days a week.I wonder how it happens.Stili I can't undersatnad how they play 8 days a week.In our country there are only 7(seven) days in a week.
