What is this?!?!?!?!?!?! Yonex Ti Pro 30 and Ti Pro 50 Or the Yonex Graphlex 2002 Gold (Limited Edition) I´ve found NOTHING on the Internet, isn´t that strange? Could it be fake Yonex rackets? Well done but not real Yonex? Graphlex is much used in Yonex Golf and Yonex Tennis but in Badminton?? Here´s a picture of the Ti Pro 30 so if anyone can get me a clue I´ll be glad!
I've seen these too. I'm sure they're not fakes. Yonex has had "one-off" models before, for special markets. The ISO 1999 was one such model which I don't think existed outside Europe.
I can answer my own question! It´s the big sportdealers here in Sweden that let Yonex specially make rackets only for them so that they can get better prices. There´s probably a "real" Yonex under the paint but who knows which!?! Could be a good buy but who cares if you really can´t tell for sure? If these rackets shows up elsewhere in the world it´s because they could not get rid of them in any other way here (I suppose).
Agree. Quite nice looking racket... Wonder whether Yonex will introduce any "special" model in North American market.
Looks like one of the new Ti-1, or Ti-2 rackets u see on the Japan Yonex site. the paint job looks great
yeah. but still, look at the list price, Y12,000 is around US$95 plus sales tax in Japan. and that's for a beginner's racket. it looks like Yonex is tailoring to the correct market segment, Yonex's previous lower end rackets don't look too attractive. a lot of times, the people who buys the lower end racket will pay more attention at the look than the actual performance of the racket. (i guess that happens to a certain extent on the high end market too) Yonex must have fired it's previous graphics design and marketing department, all of Yonex's new products are very spiffy indeed....
ti pro 50 hi guys. i've got this racket (2u-g4) from some sports warehouse sales. i, too, am having difficulties trying to look for specs on the net. call me an uninformed consumer, but i still think i got a pretty ok deal. s$69, including a free yonex bag.. so, if anyone happens to find the specs and/or know the origins of this racket, juz pm me
we have tons in malaysia. these are beginner stuff. in fact has veeb replaced with titanium pro 301, 501 and 601 with some flashy paint job on it. but the titanium pro are cheap. circa USD$25 here in malaysia.
Napee, Do you know if these racquets for Ti Pro 301, 501, 601 have full covers? Or do they just have the 3/4th covers for them? Or just the "racquet head covers". Hmm, it's very cheap for these racquets, i feel like buying bulk and bringing them into Canada/US for friends. Anyone got pix of these racquets? Are these the LOWEST end racquets from Yonex? Thanks.
about the covers, sorry that i'm not so sure as of now. maybe i'll just ask the store next time i'm there. lowest end? nope. the basic series is even lower end (made of steel, T-joints, U weight rating).
I saw two of those Titanium 60 broke within the space of 6 months, no clashes. Just FYI. One of the kids in school have this Ti30 Pro, looks very nice IMHO but really too light - you feel as if the shaft is hollow or something.
going back to the pic at the top there...the shaft (I know there's an angle distortion, but still) looks a bit short. I mean very short. Black Knight is the only company that i know manufactures mini racquets for kids (can't remember what it was called. Titanium something) I just remember the length was 60 cm and the weight was 90 gm...it's purple, turquise and white. My sister uses it because she's way too short to use one of those regular length racquets...maybe this is one of Yonex's shorter racquets...just occured...cause even at that angle...most racquets are longer than that.
Titanium Pro 30 There is someone selling one here. There's a picture of the racket and case. The shaft doesn't look too short to me...
I agree with you. Whenever some manufacturer slaps the "Pro" or "Tournament" jargons onto their product, it becomes fishy.
Ti Pro-501 It's not fake one , in Sinagpore , just that the model is changed to Ti Pro 301 , 501 and 601 perhaps . It's quite similiar to the one of the picture . My buddy just bought one from SportLink , special offer @ SGD $69.60 . Ti Pro-301 @ SGD $59.90 , but no stock at the moment . Ti Pro-601 is the highest rank among this three , selling @ $79.90 . The three almost the same in terms of design , only the color is slightly different , but all emphasis silver as the main colour . And also , that Ti Pro 301 Made-In-China , whereas Ti Pro 501 and Ti pro 601 Made-In-Taiwan . The raquet head is heavy , smashing power is good , and control is almost quite balance , he claim that it's performance is slightly better than MP-25 he sold off reently . Good day .
