Another samurai ad for badminton racquet !

During the Kumpoo launch at Siam Paragon, they were showing a samurai theme ad.

I must say this Gosen racquet looks nice !

    Just got a Gosen Shiden...

The racquet is BEAUTIFUL... The paint job is superb and feels very durable...

The shaft is stiffer than my VT80, AT900PLC, and SW35...

I was playing really poorly with it because the sweet spot is considerably smaller than isometric racquets. But the overall feel of the racquet is VERY VERY good :)))

Just played a few more hours with it last night with my Ryoga Shiden.... I must say that I am liking this racquet more and more now :)

In comparison to my VT80, this is MUCH MUCH faster! It almost took a whole game to get used to it. Typically swinging way faster than the bird. Since it is an even balanced racquet, backhands require more effort than my head heavy set of racquets. Drives and smashes feel very nice and accurate. Will be using this racquet more often than my other head heavy racquets for sure. I switched back to the VT80 and it felt EXTREMELY HEAVY... I used to think the VT80 was really fast and light... Not anymore!

So has the Shiden surpassed the VT80 as your go to racket?
Is your smash better with the Shiden than the VT80?

I'm still a little inconsistent with the Shiden because it's TOO fast... So as for go to racket... Not quite yet because I notice my backhand clears are considerably weaker.. So more practice will determine if it's my go to racquet...

Smash speed wise... If I nail the sweet spot perfectly... Yes... It seems faster than my VT80 smash...
