I am a 37years old male advanced player looking to play preferably single

Places to Play in Winnipeg Updated Nov. 10, 2010
Here are some places to play in Winnipeg. Updated Nov. 10, 2010
City Oasis 435 Cumberland Avenue. Only two courts inside an apartment block!!
Mondays 7:00pm-10 pm
Friday 7:30pm-11 pm or later
Saturday 2:30pm-5:00 pm if hall is book for events, but we normally play until 8:00pm
Sunday 3:30pm-8:00 pm
Only two courts, but we have 1 very highly competitive court and another for the older guys who can no longer keep up.
Ring the buzzer and someone will come open the door for you. Say Souvigna told you about it.
University of Winnipeg @ Duckworth Center
Tuesday 7:00pm-10pm
Sunday 7:00pm-10pm
This was my previous club, I haven't been back for a couple of years.
These are the two competitive non-club facilities that you can drop to play tournament quality games.
There are other places, if you are more of a recreational type.
Greenway School 390 Burnell street 4 courts, not busy, but not very competitive.
Mondays 8:00pm to 10:30 pm
Fridays 6:30pm to 9:00 pm
YMCA Downtown 301 Vaughan, attached to Portage Place. 4 courts, not very competitive
Mondays 8:00pm to 10:30pm
YMCA Elmwood 454 Kimberly Avenue, 3 courts, not very competitive
Tuesdays 8:00pm to 10:30pm
Maples Collegiate, 1330 Jefferson Avenue, 12 courts, not very competitive.
Tuesdays 8:00pm to 10:00pm
Thursdays 8:00pm to 10:00pm
Winter Club 200 River Avenue, Professional badminton facility
The Wildewood Club, Professional badminton facility
I haven't played at these two clubs in a long time. I only pay $80 dollars a year to play at the City Oasis. We get some good players from other clubs dropping to play us.
The University of Manitoba also has badminton, I don't think they are very competitive.
I have heard that some good players are playing at the Rady Centre 123 Doncaster, 477-7510, I haven't gone over to check it out yet because it is an hour drive from my house.
I will update more when I have a chance.

Thanks for the information Souvigna.
I hope one of these days I can drop by at City Oasis.
Just got few questions:
- Is there any dress code?
- Court surface (rubber, wood, concrete)?
- Do they allow any rubber sole or strictly gum sole?
Thanks!

Wildewood and Winterclub are probably the most competitive.
