    From Getty Images - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (L) and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin(R), accompanied by a dog, played badminton at the presidential residence in Sochi.

    I think Putin is much better than Medvedev. Maybe he is going to do a backhand smash...

    Screw the writer or that article. "Has somebody told Mr Putin that badmin is not very macho?.......Now Russian PM Vladimir Putin, who likes to bill himself as a macho tough guy, has been showing off his skills in that most genteel of sports – badminton"

    WE all at BC forums should write a hate-mail to the writer.

    "Do you know badminton is the fastest sport in the world? Only comparable to speeds of Formula 1 racing? Please research your topics before you write stupid-false headlines."

    i am not really know what "macho" means?
    does it mean;
    1. sending nuclear bomb to the writer?
    2. put a 0.45 bullet into the writer's head?
    3. land a 12lbs sledgehammer onto the writer's leg?
    4. send 12 BCers to kick boxing the writer?
    Julian?

    This view looks even better than the first one. Maybe the rich and famous will gravitate toward badminton more with facilities like this. And BCer can vacation in luxurious baddy resort one day, great views beside the court, with message and spa to pamper the wife or after a hard game.

    Makes sense in Russia. Better than playing tennis in winter.
