    I have noticed a number of threads on Lin Dans unorthadox grip, but unableto find anything about Lee Chong Wei's grip except for his own branded grip.

    I wondered if any one has a close up picture of it or information on what type of grips he has underneath the final grap.

    Also how he is able to to get the extented base cap so neat and tidy lol
    Thanks

    He wraps his grip backwards. Lots of people do it too. Basically, the grip comes with a sticky part which is supposed to be added to the bottom. Pretty much...if you wrap the other side as the base, then use that sticky part to finish it off, it comes off as much neater.

    Try it out ;)

    BTW, I'm pretty sure LCW just uses a G4 grip then adds only one overgrip on top.

    I don't follow... is it a normal grip? Or a special/different grip designed to be wrapped backwards?

    Can anyone post close up or detail pics on how to wrap like LCW style? I've tried searching but not available. I just got Yonex AC105 and would like to try out his style of wrapping.

    Identification help needed

    Hi Guys/Gurls

    Need some help with identifying the pink tape/grip LCW is using to increase the end of his racket handle,

    Interested as its seems easier/cheaper than building up the tape as i am currently doing.

    please see link to the video

    fast forward to 2:38

    thanks in advance

    I would assume it is the AC420EX replacement grip.

    Because it's:

    a) from Yonex;

    b) comes in pink;

    c) and this is the part I'm not too sure: I assume that since he is building the grip from the wood up, that pink tape isn't the last of it. Though it did give me an idea..

    And what I did to make the bulge is that I cut it into half and trimmed the part that isn't double sided tape accordingly, then pasted round the butt cap to get this (did yesterday):

    Though I build mine on the stock grip with plastic on, since basically the stock grip's cushi-ness works as my cushion below. Supergrap on wood would be rock solid I would imagine.

    Forget the overlaps, I do mine up to the cone, hence less of an overlap.

    This is LCW's grip from an online picture:

    You can take a look at my grips from when I was trying to find my way to get to the LCW-grip method here in June:
