Hello everyone!! My name is Tyler and I just found this site this morning. I started playing badminton in the summer of 2008 after watching it during the Olympics. My school has a badminton club and I've decided to finally get serious about badminton. I've already learned some things from reading your site and i look forward to learning some more!
Welcome aboard, Tyler! After reading for a while here at Badminton Central, you may be: a) the most knowledgeable badminton player at your school (so much info) b) the most confused badminton player at your school (so many contradictory opinions) c) just a guy who has lots of fun. (we all aim to be that) Cheers!
Welcome.. ..to BCDF & howdy, trr0086 (Tyler)!..Readin' & findin' out someone from Texas actually watched & followed baddy in last yr's Olympics and gettin' into the sport is sometimes just a bit surprising. And then to join this forum is even more exciting. Knowin' y'all down there in Texas are football, baseball fanatics. Btw, if you want to know more abt places or baddy groups in your area, you can hover on over to the Places to Play/Local Events->USA West sub-forum. Another Texas-based BCer, by the name of malayali, who is in the Dallas area might be able to help you out also. Anyway, keep on comin' back & have a good ol' time in here!
Thanks Chris. & welcome Tyler to BCBF. Do check out our website for places to play & other details. DBC is conducting a tournament during the Labor day week-end. You should come check it out. We have some good talents planning to participate in the tourney. www.dallasbadmintonclub.com
