lol. I wish! But NCS is the High School Tournament and you have to be top four in your league to qualify and win. I need more training! D:
With the Something Forum Name and the Location Unknown, it would be a Wanderful School Team Exercise!
8 months is plenty of time but you need to work hard. Work on ur fitness cause its the easiest ting u can do by urself. Run hills , works a treat . Work on ur strength such as leg strength, and arm strength, mainly forearm and wrist strength. This wil help greatly with endurance in matches and getting more power. Practice anything u can. for example, I put a net in my loft/attic, put down a T on both sides and practice serving, keeping record of if its good, short, long, wide etc Here is a good article to read for short serves http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28806 Also practice ur footwork, it is the faulter of most people so do shadow badminton in ur back yard if you can or on court if possible. But make sure you know the right steps and start of slow first building up the speed. And of course play as much as possible on court Hope this helps mate, and good luck with ur training, mines has 3 weeks to go til my season starts but I hurt my ankle to ive been off past 2 weeks. Just need to focus on sprints soon & my fitness wil be ready for singles!
