World of Sports in the same building complex (last bottom pic) is now offering 15% discount for its members for all Li-Ning merchandise. Even better than Mustafa's 10% discount. Currently, Queensway still top the list at 20%. JB, Malaysia still hold the promise of more attractive discounts for Li-Ning.

Wonder what is Li-Ning going to do with all those unsold stocks in their flagship store... ;)

I know I've asked for this before, but do you have a clearer picture of the LiNing Racket comparison chart?

There is a renting service here for the racquets if you are undecided and want to try them out. The rate is SGD20 a week. The staff suggested I should rent one and try it out when I was holding the different N series racquets. But hmm.. I politely declined..

The $20 rental fee cannot be offsetted for the price of the racquet if you decide to buy it.

Hmm... the 2 clauses giving me lotsa ...Question marks... and definitely lotsa hesitation.

    (i) The racket will be considered sold if the racket is returned in a faulty condition and the refundable deposit will be forfeited.

(ii) The Management reserves the right to amend any term and condition herein any time without prior notice.

Basically the terms are phrased to cover them for any losses.

At least Li-Ning is offering this rental-for-trial service which not many sports stores are doing at the moment, I stress not many, not none.

Clause (i) is fair, because the racket can be written-off if it comes back damaged, no more commercial value.

Clause (ii), well we see this "ass-covering" clause almost anywhere, look at our credit cards, shop discount coupons, promotional coupons, club memberships, etc.. etc... We just have to get used to them, fair or unfair.

Actually the distributor for ProKennex in Singapore also has a demo scheme.

    http://www.prokennex.com.sg/contact us/contactus.html

However, despite this scheme, I have not seen Prokennex badminton racquets being used by many, in fact, so far only seen it once !

The build quality of the racquets are pretty good, not so sure how they play though.

ok, they've introduce the Rent-The-Racquet scheme.

In China, Yonex sole distributor use to promote their new flagship models by having a racquet testing day open for the public.

    Racquet renting sound very cheap.
