SHB101 has advantage over SHB-100 due to 0.3mm thicker top insole layer from the wave-pattern-technology, the lateral claws are rebuilt in its mechanism from previous 100 specification 2.54cm x 4.80cm to -> 2.80cm x 5.10cm, i suspect the power cushion has changed its compression about 0.4 mg during assembly in the factor, note that the aerodynamic shape of exterior design also shows a standard deviation of 1.58 from the previous model, these factors make it possible for the wearer (or player) to accelerate 0.008 km/h faster.

In case if someone is not good on calculation,
0.008km=8meters=25feet. divide it by 3600seconds = 0.00694feet or 0.0833" faster in ONE second. 0.0833" equals to the thickness of 8 pieces of business card (I just measured with a caliper). Badminton Alley 100MX is 84.95 & 101MX is 99.95. Make your own decision.

Has the overall quality of the SHB-101 improved over the 100? I've seen pics of the back of the 101 and the blue strip bearing the Yonex brand appears a bit too shiny and cheap?
